  • 17 May 2004 to 28 May 2004
Who Is To Attend
This two weeks course is intended for Technicians in Local Authorities, Government Departments, Institutions, Private Enterprises who maintain and operate wastewater treatment facilities.
Course Content
  1. Theoretical Training
    • Preliminary Treatment: Screening, Grift removal, Safety, Managing and control
    • Stabilisation Lagoons: Full detail how it functions, Safety, Managing and control
    • Solids Handling: Full detail of various techniques, Safety, Managing and control
    • Disinfection: Full detail of various techniques, Safety, Managing and control
  2. Laboratory analyses for the above units (2 working days)
  3. Practical training to put the above theory in practice (3 working days)
Training Venue
  1. Theoretical Training
    • The theoretical and Laboratory analyses training venue will be at our WACAT/ERWAT Head Office Training Center in Bapsfontein Road, Kempton Park, RSA.
    • The time of classes will be from 08h45 to 15h15.
  2. Practical Training
    • The practical training venue is at Olifantsfontein Wastewater Care Works.
    • The time of classes will be from 08h00 to 16h00.
Tuition Fees
Tuition and fees to be advised from time to time, which includes Certificates, Course Picture Guide, tea/coffee, lunch, transport in south africa and VAT.
